HR specialist

HR specialist with a focus on recruitment and experience in other areas of HR.

Position Description:

We are looking to strengthen our HR team!

Will you help us start recruiting domestic and especially foreign candidates (=English is a must) - IT and online marketing positions? Can you help with setting up the whole recruitment process so that it runs like clockwork? Will you have a focus on continuously improving the candidate experience and proactively come up with suggestions?

You will then push other areas of HR in tandem, so we need you to have experience in other HR areas such as training, compensation and benefits, employment law.

Do you enjoy looking after the team, putting on events and supporting the culture of the team and the company? Then we will offer this as part of the position as well.

Job Description

  • Manage recruitment processes from preparing offers, CV analysis, interviewing and onboarding

  • Identify and approach potential candidates for open positions both domestically and internationally

  • Develop strategy and techniques for sourcing quality candidates through various channels, including job portals, social media and professional networks

  • Work with managers to understand their staffing needs and prepare offers

  • Maintain an active database of qualified candidates for current and future recruiting needs

  • Help create a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process

  • Perform related administrative tasks such as maintaining personnel records and assisting with payroll processing

  • Be responsible for the onboarding and offboarding process and continuously improve it

  • Actively participate in the development of the training strategy and help implement it

  • Work collaboratively within the HR team to promote a healthy company environment and support Optimics culture and values

  • Assist with day-to-day office operational matters and ensure a clean, organized and efficient work environment

  • Coordinate office events, meetings, team building and other activities to promote a good company culture

Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT or online marketing

  • English at a communicative level (at least B2), we also need you to be able to communicate in Czech:)

  • Knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools is a big plus

  • Experience with AI or hiring process automation will give you an advantage

  • Basic understanding of HR legislation

  • At least basic experience with processes such as onboarding/offboarding, training processes, compensation and benefits

  • Great communication and organisational skills

  • Independence and a proactive mindset
