Senior Full-stack developer (Google Cloud)

An experienced developer who does not want to just take over isolated tasks, but wants to understand and move forward the entire technical solution in a cloud AI system - the connection of backend, GCP, DevOps, and integrations.

What you will do in this role

  • You will join the development of a cloud AI tool for the automated creation and review of creative outputs (photos, etc.) in the automotive field.

  • The largest part of the work will be in GCP, where the main data processing logic and most of the backend flow run.

  • You will work with on-demand functions that are triggered based on requests and handle the main processing.

  • You will focus on optimizing the current solution – especially stability, speed, error evaluation, the quality of final creative outputs, etc.

  • You will handle the connection between the client application, the C# backend in the customer’s environment, and the cloud part in GCP.

  • The DevOps part will also be important – deployment pipeline, Cloud Build, Terraform, Docker, and operational debugging.

What you need to know

  • Good orientation in GCP and the ability to think about cloud architecture.

  • Ability to work with Terraform, Cloud Build, and Docker.

  • Experience with DevOps principles, deployment, and application operations.

  • C# backend that handles authentication, request enrichment, and secure transfer of data to GCP.

  • TypeScript and at least basic knowledge of React.

  • An advantage is experience with Python, AI/ML, image processing, or AI call optimization.

  • Advanced knowledge of Czech (or Slovak) and English.

What you can expect

  • Technically advanced project where cloud, backend, DevOps, AI, and automated processing of visual outputs come together.

  • The project already has a working foundation, but further development, debugging, optimization, and adding QA logic still lie ahead.

  • Space to think of ways to make the system faster, cheaper, and more stable - it will not be only about completing isolated tasks, but about understanding and moving forward the entire technical solution.

  • You will cooperate with other senior people who handle the AI / model part, architecture, etc.

  • Flexibility – we do not have fixed working hours, we care about results.

  • A hybrid home office / office setup, 5 weeks of vacation + another 5 days as sick days or time off for charitable purposes.

  • Other standard benefits such as a Multisport card, company mobile plan, or your own choice of hardware.

  • Cooperation in the form of permanent employment or freelance contract – as agreed.

Optimics – who we are

  • We are a smaller agency, a team of 30 people, and we live and breathe marketing and advertising technologies, digital analytics, AI, cloud, and data.

  • Together with our clients, we create new ways for them to accelerate their business through a better understanding of their data.

  • We are creative, we want to break new ground in our field, discover, push beyond our own limits, and show others possibilities they did not know before.

  • We became the first full-stack Google partner on the Czech market, we are long-term partners of Adobe, Meiro, and SAS, and we work for major Czech and international companies of all sizes.

  • We do not have an investor behind us and we are not being built for sale. Optimics is fully in our hands, and we are building something here that should go beyond ourselves – we are playing the “infinite game.”
